The nephrology teams at Salete Hospital and Policlínicas Hospital joined forces and founded Renalclin on August 7, 2000, with the goal of providing hemodialysis and hemodiafiltration to patients in Cascavel. The founders—Dr. Hi Kyung Ann, Dr. Mauricio Tissot do Amaral Camargo, Dr. Noris Regina dos Santos Rohde, Dr. Sergio Kazuyuki Saito, Dr. Vanessa Schnekenberg Martins Uscocovich, and Dr. Luiz Alberto Batista Peres—created the clinic with a focus on personalized care and compassionate hospitality.
Over time, Renalclin built a multidisciplinary team and created a welcoming environment for both patients and employees. It became a pioneer in the region by offering hemodiafiltration and developed several emotional and social support initiatives, such as literacy classes, educational lectures, physical activities, and beauty treatments. It also established partnerships with laboratories and promoted prevention campaigns, offering free screenings on dates such as World Kidney Day.
Keeping pace with technological advances, the clinic has invested in new equipment and digital solutions, further enhancing its services. In its 25 years of operation, Renalclin has performed 1,000,000 hemodialysis procedures, establishing itself as a benchmark in kidney treatment in Cascavel and the surrounding region.
